The Iranian student Scholarship Fund

This fund is meant to help Iranian youth who are accepted into undergraduate program of a four-year college in the United State and are in need of financial assistance. The value of this scholarship can be as high as $10,000.00 per year.  This fund is open to all students attending an undergraduate and graduate course and maintains a GPA of 3.2 or better. Maximum number of years that a student can apply for this scholarship is 4 years as long as s/he maintains our criteria.

Undergraduate or graduate students of Iranian descent who are attending a University in United State may apply for this scholarship.  

Iranians and persons of Iranian descent who:

  1. Are interested in Iranian Culture

  2. Are active in studying Iranian culture and arts

  3. Promote Iranian culture and arts

  4. Promote a positive image of Iran and Iranians

  5. Enrich the life of Iranian Americans through Iranian cultural events

  6. Non Profit organizations with similar goals.

If you are interested in making donation to this fund please email us at ifwc@aol.com.  The Youth Scholarship Fund is ran 100% by volunteer efforts and hence 100% of your donations will be given to students and your donations are 100% tax deductible.  Select recipients to see the list of last year's scholarship recipients. 

What can help a student to receive an IFWC/ Iranian Student Scholarship

  1. Students with a history of volunteer work have an advantage.   

  2. Belonging to the Persian Club of your school.

  3. Good references from teachers or professors.

  4. References from community groups or clubs that the student has done volunteer work for.

  5. Volunteers of Payvand school and IFWC receive an advantage, as long as they are not related to the members of the Youth Scholarship committee.

  6. The application deadline for the IFWC's Youth  Fund  Scholarship is May 1st  of each year. The scholarships will be announced in July of each year.

Education Fund Scholarship at De Anza College

The Education Fund Scholarship at De Anza College started on year 1997.

Students with a history of community work have an advantage.

  1. GIVEN BY: Iranian Federated Women's Club

  2. AMOUNT: 2 @ $500 each

  3. New and continuing students are welcome to apply.

  4. Applicant must have a at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA from De Anza College.

  5. Applicant must enrolled in at least 12 units.

  6. Applicant must show community service, either on campus or in the community.

  7. Financial need will be a consideration.
